I have a problem with some lights that I carry

Currently I have a SF E1B and when I sit down it randomly comes on
and it happens enough it drains the battery.

Tried carrying it in different areas but it just does not work out so well.
My solution has been to carry extra batteries.
Left pocket using the clip.... Looks like a pocket knife clip

Is there a different light out there that is equal in size and brightness
that will resist coming on when seated?

TIA

Why not carry it on your off hand side on your belt?

Or twist it out far enough that it doesn't come on until you turn cap back in.
That is 1/2 turn on my E2e.

Your light is turning on when pressure is applied to the side of the tail cap. It can be cured by adding a second oring at the second grove near the end of the tail cap threads, unscrew your tail cap a little more, or the best option is to buy a Thyrm combat ring.

Thanks for the replies.

1- I don't wear a belt.

2- twisting the cap back does keep it
off but it is considerably slower bringing
light to on.

3- tail cap is snug. It does not activate
with side pressure.

This is an E1B....

Or are there other quality lights out there
that are comparable in size and brightness
that wuld be less likely to activate.

The EB1 click switch has a slightly raised guard that may help and your only option besides buying a different light since untwisting your cap is not an option for you.

Does your E1B have the Z68 tailcap that protects the switch?

If not, you should try one of them.

That looks promising..
