You shouldn't have any barrel shadow with that length rail/barrel provided the light is mounted all the way at the muzzle end. Even if you did, it would be cast downward and you wouldn't be able to see it when behind the gun. What kind of beam is it-I'm using a scout fury and it's got a huge spill but the throw is limited-how far could I ID someone (and at what range would I be able to see hands)? The X300 series lights have quite a bit of spill to them (they are designed for handgun usage). Figure 75-100yds (maybe a little more) realistic PID range. Anybody ever have issues with how I want to use it? Nope, my HD rifle has the same setup. Thanks! Answers in red. |
