Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Battery Storage

This may be a dumb question but it's always better to ask when it comes to batteries. I bought one of those storage compartments for my Magpul grip that fits (2) CR123's. How should I stack them considering the contacts will touch? Both positive side up? I am used to storing 18650's in cases that never allow the batteries to touch, but I'm not sure about the Surefire CR123's. Thanks.

Both up, just to be safe, pictures online look like they are both up too.

There is no load or circuit running though them. GTG.

I don't use any of the cores in my Magpul pistol grips, and they store 2xCR123's (- to -), a small bottle of lube, 6xCR2032's for my MRO's and a nickel (tactical screwdriver for removing the MRO's battery cap).
