What does your local Walmart sell (quantity/pack)? Surefire says that they will honor warranty if Duracell and Energizer batteries are used instead of Surefire brand batteries. But you have other companies that make those same batteries.

I usually use my Candlepower Forums username to take advantage of THIS DEAL - $1.30 for Battery Stations CR123s.

They also have Energizers for $1.25 (if you buy 100).  LINK

I've used the battery station ones in the past and also just bought the titanium innovation ones to try in some cameras around the house.

Most of these batt's are made in same plants and just branded differently. I go thru about 10-15 123's a month due to work. The .99 each ones from BJ have outlasted the Surefire ones on me.

Lot of info on the brand. the consensus is only one US manufacturing plant for 123a's but different brands have different specs. Bottom line from what I have read is ONLY BUY US made ones.

$115 for 100 rayovac shipped is a good deal i think http://www.batteryjunction.com/rayovac-cr123a-100-box.html

Same price on Amazon with free shipping.

I only run cr123's in my weapon lights so i don't go through a ton. All my other work lights are rechargeable.

Good company to deal with and a site sponsor. Prices are consistent and this is the lowest price I've seen.

Streamlight CR123A 12 pack ~ $16.99

I had a 12pk of Streamliget that had inconsistent charges and seemed to die quickly (100% subjective).

I use Surefire now.
