I picked up a M951 dirt cheap a couple weeks ago. I decided to put in a Malkoff LED, also have an lu60 adapter, and Surefire Z44 bezel. the light works great until I tighten the bezel all the way down. It does it with original Bezel as well. The light works fine with OEM p60 bulb.

You need to sand the inside of the adapter.  They are too small for most LED drop ins.  There is a company that makes one specifically for this (already enlarged) but I can't remember the name.  Name has something to do with Dark Sucks.

Have the adapter, drop in drops in. Works until you make the final 1/2 turn.

The adapter isn't made to work with the Malkoff M61.  You'll either need to get one of these or you'll need to lengthen the spring on the malkoff, and pull out the plastic insert in the factory Surefire adapter.

Figured out what I needed to do. I had to install a copper spring washer under the malkoff in the adapter. It was a little loose and would break contact.
