Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How well do old Surefire incandecent lights (M951, M961) hold up to shotgun recoil?

Just wundering if the bulb its self breaks under recoil? I'm thinking about doing a retro military shotgun with a bayonet and M951.

I used my 951 on my Mossberg 500 for a couple range trips and it survived. Even funnier, I used a flashlight from the dollar store on the same shotgun for a few range trips (just to see how it would hold up) and it held up no issues.

That light didn't shit the bed until just the other day, just from regular use. None of my Surefire's have shit the bed on me.
