Did a search and could only find threads over two years old in the archives.  Saw a few posts about examples going down for apparently no reason.  Very seriously considering getting one for my HD carbine.

Anyone have the latest info on them?  Are they good to go or should they be avoided?  Seem like a great deal at $100 (or $140 with the thorntail) while their 4th of July/Republic sale is going on.

Ive got the IR and Momentary only non-IR versions.  Both are good to go.  There were some complaining of them draining batteries over time while not in use but both of mine are on the original batteries and still work.  They're very nice, especially with the thorntail.

This is a picture from one SWAT team that started having the WML break during normal wear and tear/normal SWAT use.

Would the average hobby user have this issue?  Probably not.
Do SureFire weaponlights have this issue?  No.
Do SureFire and Streamlight WMLs have this issue?  No.
