I just bought a TNVC torch and see that it can use the surefire XM tailcap. That thing is huge. Is there another type of tailcap that will fit with just a tape switch plug?

You could try to find a Surefire UM tailcap but from what I hear they are pretty rare and also still rather large compared to standard clicky tail caps.
