We are excited to announce our collaboration with Impact Weapons Components in developing the new Mini-CQB Modular Weaponlights.
Based on Elzetta Alpha technology, the new Mini-CQB delivers 315 375 lumens
of diffuse neutral-tint light in a beam pattern optimized for close
quarters battle engagements.
The Mini-CQB is available with any of six Tailcaps (Rotary, Click, Alpha
High/Low, High/Strobe, or Tape Switch with 5" or 12" Cable).
It is also available with two ambidextrous attachment mechanisms
developed by IWC; M-1913 Picatinny or Keymod/M-LOK
™
. The Keymod/M-LOK
™
system fits both mounting systems by utilizing the patent-pending
reversible nuts in one direction for Keymod and flipped for M-LOK
™
.
Weighs less than 5 oz and operates on a single CR123A battery.
Pre-orders
are now being accepted with deliveries beginning in April. Prices
begin at $210.00 for M-1913 version and $235.00 for Keymod/M-LOK
™
.

Elzetta Modular Flashlights come with your choice of Tailcap: Rotary, Click, High/Low, High/Strobe, or Remote Tape Switch with 5" or 12" Cable.

Only Elzetta lets you configure your Flashlight according to your mission and preferences. All components are available individually for easy modification.

Here is the configuration chart for part number identification and pricing:

(Elzetta Alpha-Series Components are interchangeable with Mini-CQB
Weaponlights so it is possible to install an Alpha Standard or
Crenellated Bezel Ring or an Alpha Flood Lens onto a Mini-CQB though
these options are not shown in the above chart.)

Mine showed up today. It is all that they say it is. Mine is the single mode 315 lumens. It is now mounted on my complete MI rifle. (Keymod)

The mount is reversible so it can go on either side. The fit and finish is great. More when I get to wring it out a little.

As the name implies, the Mini-CQB is designed for Close Quarters Battle. It therefore has a high-lumen/low-candela output optimized for engagements within 50 meters.

We are happy to announce that Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) has begun on the new Mini-CQB Modular Weaponlights and the first units have begun shipping!

Orders are being processed in the sequence they were received. We hope to have all pre-orders shipped in the next two to three weeks and we appreciate your patience.

We are also pleased to announce that production models are producing 375 lumens (not 315 as promised). Our engineers were able to increase Lumen output without increasing peak Candela making the new Mini-CQB the ultimate weaponlight for close quarters battle/home defense. (See this thread for explanations of Lumens and Candela.)

Do these have enough offset to not interfere with BUIS sights on the slimmer rails such as the SLR and Bravo Company KMR rails? I am having an issue being able to run an offset light next to my troy BUIS at the front of the rail.

They have worked on all the rails we have tried so far but we cannot vouch for every rail system on the market.

I would like to see how flush the light can fit in the 11 O'clock groove.

Are their any other heads that will fit this light specifically thinking Malkoff as I have a few laying around anyway and would like
more lumens out the front.....

For me this isn't about fighting inside my quarters as would be used in varmint interdiction around livestock....light weight,small footprint, handy with lots of lumens & not much spill to pinpoint stuff in open pasture.

Malkoff does not make anything for the Mini-CQB.

As its name implies, the Mini-CQB is designed specifically for Close Quarters Battles and therefore has a unique high-lumen/low-candela beam. It is optimized for engagements within 50 meters. For longer range missions, you would be better served with an Elzetta Bravo or Charlie in your choice of mounts.

What is the "stand off" of the bezel from the rail?

What I mean to ask, is this...

...NSR, Wedgelock, etc. are very narrow rails. Will the light be mountable with the bezel even with a front BUIS, say, an MBUS PRO? assuming the widest part of the bezel is dead-even with the screw on the MBUS? Maybe my question is hard to phrase, and I'm sorry if it's coming across poorly, but I think I conveyed the concept?

Is the bezel's extreme edge on the inner aspect closer to the barrel of the weapon than is the mount that interfaces with the rail on the side?

Is there a trick to the mount in keymod "mode"?

I have mounted it to my KMR and no matter how much I tighten down the screws I can just wiggle the light/mount and work it loose fairly easily.

I made sure it is in keymod mode and not mlock. Any ideas?

Its backwards to a regular keymod. On a regular keymod mount you put it in the large hole and slide it forward into the slot. On this mount you put it in the slot and slide it backwards into the hole.

The nuts have two sides. One side is squared off, and one has a rounded edge. You want the rounded edge facing the light mount. That way it will match up with the rounded part of the hole on the keymod.

For MLOK you reverse the nuts so the squared off part is facing the mount. It is somewhat problematic getting it to seat on a keymod rail, it takes some fiddling around. On my MI rail it was really tough because of a lack of clearance between the inside of the rail and the gas block.

There is or was an animation on the IWC web site.
