Hey guys I'm going to buy the Elzetta mount for my AR15 and was origianlly going to get the Surefire G2 for it but I was wondering if you guys had any other suggestions? I'd like to keep the price about 70 bucks or below if possible. I was looking at the Fenix PD35 and the Thrunight TN12 as well but I was unsure if they would fit the Elzetta mount.

I run a Surefire G2X on my rifle but may change it out eventually for a TLR1. I'm a huge fan of Surefire products. Tough as nails and simple. I've used Fenix lights, they're not bad but I'm not a fan of all of the functions they have as it adds complexity in both function and internals. Just more things to go wrong IMO. If you want to go the cheap route, do a Surefire G2 and an LED conversion kit later. Or spend a little more up front and buy the G2X if you want to go with Surefire that is. Just like everything else in the AR world, buy the best you can afford and buy once, cry once. As long as the mount is a 1" diameter, Surefire will work just fine. Not sure about the other two, they may be .75".

It's hard to beat the TLR lights for value.  You get a very well made light for a price that doesn't break the bank.
