Picked up a NcSTAR cheap (yeah, that is a bit redundant) for a 10/22.
Neat addition and fun to play with.
Laser stopped working and figured time to get a new battery (seemed to be about that time).
New battery and still not working.
No receipt and purchased > 3+ years ago.
Is there a place to send it to for repair or best to toss it and get something else.
Even with the 10/22 it was fun to use on those days suffice for a laser.

You got over 3 years out of a cheap Chinese laser so you definitely got your money's worth there.  Personally, I'd just buy a replacement. Maybe take the broken one apart and fiddle around with it, might not be able to fix it but it would be worth a try if not just for the fun of taking something apart.

I was in a similar situation with an NcStar scope a few years ago.  Found the NcStar guy at a gun show a year after I bought it, and politely asked him to reissue a receipt for warranty purposes.  He did.

the head should come off with a little heat to break the glue. the tricky part is finding a new laser module that is the same size, and making that module more recoil resistant. it can be done with a little epoxy. Take a look at this thread I made.
