I've used and like the Midwest Industries front sight rail 01G2.

You can use these for your standard hand guards.
Or. You can use these for your front sight base. Both companies have a great reputation and can't go wrong with picking one over the other. |

Midwest Industries makes picittney rail sections that attach to standard hand guards.
