Throwing together a budget build. Have an extra Gear Sector mount laying around.  It is sized for a Surefire Fury.

If you have used a Gear Sector mount you will know that there is very little to no room for diameter variance.

So is anything less expensive exactly the same size?

6PX should be the same.  I believe they share the same body, just have a different head

From what I have found...most tactical flashlights have a body diameter of 1".  Which is probably why most flashlight mounts are 1".

Don't know which came first.

Thank you very much for the advise. Using the Gear Sector mount isn't like using 1" rings. I was afraid that since the mount has very little room for discrepancies,  others might not fit.

On a side note, bless you for making this mount. Before finding these I must have tried a dozen or more. That is the only mount that holds the light exactly where I want it. Once I tried it, I sold off all my others and ordered a half dozen Gear Sectors..........Thanks again!
