THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
3- different versions, all single stage 500 lumens.

P2X-A-BK flashlight, black, tactical
P2ZX-A-BK Combat light, black, tactical
P2XD-A-BK Defender Light, Black, Tactical

I hear the strike bezel is badass on the Defender. I may go check out a demo light tomorrow.

This may be exactly what I'm looking for in coyote hunting.

Thoughts?

Will any of these be weapon mountable?

Very nice but still can't use rechargeable 18650 batteries. Love Surefire's but I don't know why they won't do that.

Anyone know when these will be available, and if they are now where is the best place to get them. I don't mean the current 2 stage version but the P2XD-A-BK Defender, I read this is suppose to be a tactical version that is weapon ready.

Are they shock isolated? If so I'll get one or two for my hog guns.

You would have to call Surefire to find out. I'm sure it would be fine.

The LEDs don't need anywhere near the shock isolation protection of an incan. They are pretty durable.

I called Surefire yesterday and the guy said they were designed to be handheld lights but he also said that does not mean that you can't use them for weapon lights. He said they have not been shock tested though as far as weapon recoil goes. Also they are currently in their system and should be for sale on their web site within the month. Some of SF's vendors got an early run of these to sell that's why they are available in some places. I found them on Ebay but the guy said he would not trust Ebay cause they get a lot of complaints about knockoff product. All the Fury models are 1.37" in diameter, that's bigger than G2 & 6P which are 1.25" (current models) for those of you looking for mounts. I don't think shock should be a problem for these, reason being is I see a lot of people running the old 6P & G2 nitrolon and those were not rated for weapon recoil either but I don't hear too many complaints. If anyone gets one of these early and gets out to the range with it please let us know what you think, thanks.

That's for the head. The bodies are still the same diameter.

The bodies are 1.25 same as the others? I must have read that wrong then, that's good cause I thought I would have to buy a different mount. Thanks for the info.

@ coldair-I would appreciate that, I have a gear sector mount that I have an old style G2 nitrolon in. I'm planning on upgrading to the Fury when it comes out in single stage and it would be nice not to have to spend more money on a new mount, thanks.

1.25/1.37" are the bezel (head) diameters. A good way to tell if they are the same body size is to look at recommended accessories. The Fury models fit all of the old 6P/G2 holsters.

Thanks for the info, are you guys going to carry the new line of Furys when they come out. If you do I'll buy one at your site, I've seen you do quite a few light reviews and I like that you go to the trouble to let the consumer see the product work, let me know, thanks.

Is that a lanyard loop tht the CombatLight one came with? I think I need one. Also, does the combatlight have the press for momentary, full click for constant on, or is it roate for constant on?

Ya,
It has the lanyard. I dont know about the tailcap. That one isnt mine.

The Defender has the press for momentary, full click for constant on.
I was able to swap tailcaps between my G2X and the PX2 just to chack size. They both work on each other's bodies.

They look very similar to the Fenix TK-21 ? Except the Fenix accepts 18650 rechargables.
