Does anyone know how this setup stands against something like the Surefire M1. Also is there a red glow at the filter that is visible to the eye? To answer your question, putting any IR filter over an ican. light source blocks approx. 70-80% of all the light itself. Not very effective. Also, take look at this tacked thread above. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_20/304222_IR_Illuminator_Shoot_Out_Review__Updated_with_the_Surefire_Vampire_IR_Light.html Hope this helps. Vic |

Thanks, you would definetly know, appreciate it. I love the M1, I just never saw the incad through the IR filter on the 962 with 125 lumens. Thanks for the info.. I might do a quick switch and go run it in the back forty.
