Their is a new generation of IR lights that out preforms everything else mentioned above.  
They are fully focus able, compact and light weight.
They are the T-20, LLTL-001 & UAV-20  I will compare the LLTL-001 because I feel it is the best of the new IR's.
I have been using 2 of these to pile up the coyotes for the past 4 months during which time I've sold off nearly every other IR light I own.
In my  (unscientific) observations The LLTL-001 was 3x times brighter than the Torch Pro and twice as bright as the SPIR/DBAL.
