Got my M-LOK offset light mount from AIMSurplus and immediately got it mounted up. I'm happy with it. It puts the light in the right place on my 15" SLR Rifleworks Ultra Lite handguard.

How do you activate the dbal? I have a 10.5" rifle with a similar set up and I'm waiting for my IR laser to come in and I don't know how I'm gonna put it on.

I use the fire button on the top of it and reach over with my support thumb.  I HATE using tape switches.  They are the most unreliable pieces of crap on a gun.

How do I get the pictures to appear on here instead of just the URLs??????????

This gun is still a work in progress.  I'm waiting for a red dot scope in the mail. After installing that, I'll do a full camo job.  This light is a Streamlight Polytac 88860, the mount is a Magpul rail mount. It works great up to 150 yds, and was cost-effective. The light and mount together were under $70 at a local tac supply store.

Slippers

Do you run a can and does it clear the can?  What can if so?  Thanks.

Yes. Saker 762. Any 1.5" diameter can will work fine. The base of the lugs on the light sit 0.200" off the KMR, which itself is 1.5" diameter. Plus the light head doesn't protrude below the lugs, either.

My first light set-up was a Magpul Rail Light mount with a Streamlight Polytac LED.

My new set-up is a Surefire M300B Mini Scout in an IWC Thorntail SBR.  I'm running the clicky tail cap for now but I may pick up an SR07 in the future.  If I do, I'll probably mount the SR07 at 12:00 and move the light to the opposite side of the rail.

ARMS previewed something like this back in the day - the flashlight bezels were even "textured" to resemble A2 flash suppressors.

It doesn't seem to have gone anywhere.

Thanks Slippers!  I will probably order this one, as I think this was the one in the original photo as this does not have a hinged piece at all.

Oh, sorry. I thought you were asking about the other picture that was just above your post. Yes, the inline is a better choice if you have a handguard with 45 degree mounting flats adjacent to the top rail, like the BCM KMR or KAC URX4.

Thanks for posting this. I just bought a tlr-1 hl and wanted to know the best way to mount with a pressure switch. Now I know.

the newer polytac (275 Lumens) in a fas 2 quick disconnect mount. So the flashlight was just a little to small for the mount but friction tape solved that.

I just built the rifle below is a picture before the light came in

Just finished this mount for my TLR-1 on my budget build. Buy 7 dollar ebay micro gas block and a 12 dollar 3" yhm rail section, sand, drill, tap,JB weld. I was trying to make a mount like an RS Regulate BM-1, but for a.750 barrel

Link to those parts?  I need to make one of those!  I want to mount my TLR-1 at the 12 oclock position but I don't have the real estate on my carbine.

Hmmm this looks like what I need

Barrel Light Mount?

PS Also would like to hear how it's holding out for you!
