Picked up a VTAC bugee sling this week.  Very comfortable, and seems to slide better than my padded VCAS.  I'll admit I've never tried a non padded version of the VCAS, but I can't imagine it would move over gear and what not smoother than the tubing on the bungee portion.

If VTAC could design a quick adjust closer to the VCAS it would be absolutely perfect.  That's the only downside I've found.  VCAS is far superior for quick adjustments.

I found Tactical Taylors 2 point padded sling to be my favorite. It also tightens up better than others I have tried.
