A small clearance cut with a die grinder and then drill screw hole. I used a lock washer but additional locktite would be best.

Cool item. Thanks. Isn't the free enterprise system great. didn't know that was available. $30 plus shipping is kinda steep. The uncle mikes was $15 at walmart for 2 swivles and 2 bases. Plus, I mounted where i wanted.
