ok so does it matter that i have a quad rail. maybe its a little thicker system so would i be better with the gen1 grip? maybe to match my thickness?

Id say my hands are of the smaller side compared to the average.

Get the AFG2, works great for me as I still use them. The AFG1 works but its bulky and can potentially interfere with accessories mounted on the side rails.
