I am looking to buy a bayonet that fits a M16.  I know the M6 bayonet fits the M14 (I have both).  So, does the M7 (?) fit the M16?

The M7 was the designation for the bayonet used on the M16 series of rifles in VIetnam, until replaced by the Phrobis M9, which was put into service in the 80s when the M16A2 was adopted.

In the USMC the M9 was replaced with the Ontario Kife Co. OKC-3S bayonet.
