I'm looking at bipods from Harris. I'm looking at a 6-9 inch or a 9-13 inch. I would like to use a 30 round Magpul but I'm not sure if that bipod is big enough. Opinions?

both 6-9 and 9-13 will fit your 30 round pmags.

When I was choosing my bipod height, I decided to get both the 6-9 and 9-13, I read this thread: https://www.ar15.com/archive/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=467717

In summary. 6-9 for everyday bench shooting/prone with manicured grass
9-13 for prone shooting with taller grass or potential brush in the way.
13-27 for seated shooting/shooting over shrubs

I started with the 6-9 but eventually got the 9-13 as I started more prone shooting/woods shooting

Well the 6-9 is too short on 6 to use a 30 round mag but it works fine on 9.

I'd go with the 9-13 if you're never going to use 20rd mags.

That is what I initially read and thought but didn't know what size the Magpul mags are.

On the 6" setting, the 30 round magazine is the primary point of contact on the ground.

I have also attached a 9" picture for your visual aid
