I just completed my first build (didn't have the BCG in when I took this picture, hence the missing CH):

Now I'm evaluating slings for it. As you can see, I have a QD mount in the rear of the stock, as well as a few in the rail.

I'm not necessarily set on any particular style or set up, so I wanted to come here to see if you guys had any recommendations for great slings - and what I may have to add or change to accommodate them.

For reference, I use and prefer single-point slings on my AK's mounted on plates under the pistol grip. One of them is a two-point or one-point style which I like the versatility of.

They are indeed QD holes. If I were to go this route though I would need to add another QD compatible end plate to utilize a one-point configuration, correct?

I prefer a 2 point sling such as a viking vtac or specter gear 2 point. i dont like 1pt slings because they have a tendency to swipe the muzzle across your feet if you let them hang, and a 2 pt is more versatile. i can set my specter sling up as a tactical sling using the QD point on the breech end of the rail, or i can set it up as a shooting support using the QD point on the muzzle end of the rail.

this is the sling i use, with QDs on each end: http://www.spectergear.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=541

Yes. I assumed you had one already.

Correct and the MS4 sling would be a good sling to go with.

ETA: Why is that stock QD cup sticking out so far?

As far as I can tell, this is just the way the included QD cup that comes with the ACS stock is. There were no instructions on how to install it and I couldn't seem to dig up much online so this is how it ended up - pretty much the only way to do it as far as I could tell.

For reference, this is essentially what was included in the box.

I recommend the Condor Speedy 2-point sling. It's adjusting mechanism does not leave two feet of strap dangling (Troy/VTAC). The material is smooth, so it adjusts easily unlike other slings (Blue Force)...and it's under $30.

Looked it up on Amazon - looks like it doesn't have any attachment hardware. What would I need to add to the front rail of my rifle to attach this?

Sling is supposed to be on the other side of the stock if you are right handed--
Left side in the front, right side in the rear.

It keeps the gun from rolling over awkwardly when slung.

It also keeps the sling from choking you if you have to transition from strong to support side.

Magpul MS4, I have a rifle similar to yours and love it. Put that QD socket on the other side of your stock though, makes a difference.

Not sure what a Type 3 is

Also I'm surprised nobody has said anything about my missing charging handle yet

Make your own Vtac style two point sling takes all of 10min and will cost you under $20

In my opinion, the Padded blue force gear VCAS sling with 2 QD swivels is the best sling made. I've gotten rid of my magpul ms4 and my larue VTAC slings in favor of the VCAS

Right now the Condor Speedy is looking good - $23 for the sling and $8 for a QD loop for the front rail. Only two point capability but I could move it from the front of the handguard to the rear of the handguard to adjust.

The MS4 dual QD looks great, but at $60 I would also have to add a QD end plate to utilize it as a proper 1 point. That would put me near or over $80 for a sling

Thoughts? Since I'm not a tier 1 operator badass I don't know if spending close to $100 for a sling is right for me. All options considered though, and thanks for the help so far.

I am considering this for a dedicated 2point and its under $40 bucks with no mounting hardware needed.

Also thought about this one because of that same video - not a bad idea. Although if I wanted a dedicated two point I think the Speedy is a better gig for me cause for about $31 I could have it QD'd in the front.

Link? I can only seem to find one with universal ends (i.e. no QD).

I use BFG's VCAS with the 2 to 1 QD socket and also run the VTAC with the 2 to 1 triglide and have been really happy with those set ups for the past few years. Even converted a few single point only users to this set up and they're liking it so far.

I had intentions of putting an HK clip on it, and never got around to it.

It works fine

Jukeboxx, I have one of these on a lightweight build with a BCM 16" ELW with KMR.  Sling is super light, inexpensive, shipped fast as hell, and compliments the gun nicely.  Easy to adjust as well and eliminates the need for additional sling hardware.  Very well thought out.   Check it out.  I ordered it around noon last Saturday, and it was in my mailbox Monday afternoon.
