I hadnt heard of the carbon fiber ones. Samson makes the lightest that I know of that aren't carbon fiber. Supposedly a few ounces lighter than the DD lite rails.

That is pretty light . Magpul carbine length are 6.85 ounces and mid-length are 8.75 . Heavier but im sure you won't notice LOL

That's just the hand guards for the Magpuls. Doesn't include the barrel nut, delta assembly, and retainer.
