Go to caseclub.com and design your own.  I've got one coming for my Glock 20. I'll post up pics when I get it.  I went with polyethylene foam, which will be more rigid and durable.

You guy/gals have some nice cases....
Question is everyone useing Plasti-Dip? Has anyone used Rust-Oleum LeakSeal?
Also do you spray just the top part of the foam or do you spray all between the cutouts too?
Thanks

I don't use it, I use 2.2lb closed cell polyethylene foam instead of the charcoal foam that comes with the case.  Much firmer, more durable and it won't absorb liquid or break down from oil or (most) cleaning solvents.

Pelican 1200 should work for that purpose.

BTW you need to check the case separately, can't be stashed inside another bag as far as I know.  I do know you would have to at least declare the weapon.

Go to TSA's website, they have clear directions. Must be declared, inspected, locked and then put inside another bag.

My case arrived today from Case Club, and it came out as expected.  It is a Pellican 1400.

This is a Glock 20 with a Glock 40 MOS slide, Vortex Venom, Streamlight TLR-1 HL, three magazines, and batteries.

Pelican 1150.

Twelve MP5 mags fit great with top and bottom foam. They don't move around at all.

Eight MP5 mags and four Glock 18 mags with top and bottom foam. Important to note: the Glock 18 mags will only fit on top like this. There's ribs inside of the case that block them from being lower, so you couldn't put twelve Glock 18 mags inside an 1150. But it's great if you have a Glock 17 SBR and an MP5.

Eight MP5 mags and two AR-15 mags with top and bottom foam fits like a glove.

Pelican, it's an option with some of their cases.

Unfortunately I think they only make them in yellow so it's going to get dirty but so be it.

The first one is an IM3100. The rest of them are all the same IM3200 with different pieces of foam. The foam is 4 lb. cross linked polyethylene machined from 4' x 8' sheets on a CNC router. The router gives us control over the depth of the cuts.

That's the idea, but engineering is probably going to put one off's out of reach for most people. Once the modeling is done we can sell a set of foam (top and bottom) for about $200.

That is badass, I love it. Do you need to be a FFL so that you can legally receive firearms shipped to you to have this done? Or would it have to be only in person locally?

I assume yes. We would need a FFL to receive a firearm in the mail, and we don't have one. At least not yet, but we have talked about getting one for this application. We could probably work something out with another FFL, but that would add to the cost...

Some foams are more heat resistant than others (their melting points are usually listed on their respective MSDS sheets), though generally speaking - you either don't put the weapon away while it's hot (which is really the best option to go with anyways), or you cut the foam out away from the barrel as it sits in the case (similar to that as posted by PoopdeckPappy below:

Armacell OleTex BKJN400 should be the same thing, but I'd probably go with the 2 lb BKJN200. We were using the 4 lb stuff for our prototypes because we had some left over from another project.

And the last of the prototype rifle inserts. This one is for a Pelican Storm IM3200. It holds a 20" scoped Remington 700 in 308 with the bolt removed and stored separately, 120 rounds of ammo in their boxes, sling, shooting glasses, ear plug case, cleaning kit, a 4" fixed blade and a folding knife with some room to spare.

CCW travel case. This would be perfect for an airline case. It's an IM2050 case that holds a Glock 43, two mags and twenty rounds of ammo.

The fuzzy edges on the foam are a result of the machining. They go away when we hit it with a heat gun. That just hasn't been done yet with this one.

Yea. They're cheap, easy to obtain, and pretty good quality.

Three things:

1) To the poster asking about locks...If you are using your case to fly, never use travel/TSA locks. Always use
a standard padlock. The TSA does not want access to your weapons. In every experience I have had flying with rifles, the following
occurs: you declare your firearms at the ticket counter, then you will take them over to the TSA baggage Xray. If they need to
look in the case, they will ask you to open it. At no time are you to surrender the key for the locks.

   Again, always use standard locks.

2) In going with the flying theme, a poster stated that he no longer uses the foam. If you are flying with an optic equipped
firearm, that can be a bad thing. You need max protection for your weapon. I work at a major airport and have seen what
happens to baggage once it goes down the 'rabbit hole' behind the ticket counter. It is not pretty. I have seen bags fall off
the baggage train and be subsequently run over by trailing vehicles (especially at night). It is not a regular occurrence, but it does happen
and murphy sez it will happen to you when you are going on a once-in-a-lifetime hunt or whatever. If you don't fly, no worries.
If you do, protect that weapon.

3) FYI on Custom made foam... I am currently awaiting the arrival of some custom made foam for my Pelican 1700. The foam is being cut by a
   company called My Case Builder.
Their site has an online, do-it-yourself CAD program, allowing you to design your own foam. You input the case model that it is for and go from there.
You can design from scratch, use pre-selected shapes, or, upload a photo of the case contents and use that as a template. Lastly, the price is on par with
other foam makers (and you do not have to send tracings). They offer an 'insurance' of $7.99, so if you made an error, send the foam
back (with needed corrections noted) and they will send an updated foam sheet back to you.

As for price, I ordered a high density polyethylene foam set (the real dense stuff) and egg crate lid foam for $162 (including shipping and the oops insurance).

I will post pics here when it arrives (first or send week of Jan).

Sorry for the slow response.

I'd call or e-mail him.   An Uzi is pretty standard size so he was able to use one out of his library for mine.

Copy all on the locks. Appreciate it.

Got my case in and did a quick mock up. Need to get more Velcro:
