Was all set to go with the 1-8 Strike Eagle but then Cabelas put the older PST 1-4 on sale and I have some GC's and can get it for $284.  The Strike Eagle would be $355 for me.  I have owned a PST 5-25 FFP before and liked the glass.  Just can't decide if I want the extra 4x on the Strike Eagle and I also have not had the chance to look through one yet.  Any input fellas?

and my only other issue is that all my scopes are mil and the PST on sale is only the MOA.  But, can't imagine I'm going to be dialing much on a 4x.  Won't be shooting this AR out past 300-400

PST... Not a fan of Chinese glass coupled with an 8x zoom ratio and a small objective lens.

Really like the PST 1-4 wish they'd make a Razor 1-4 with JM reticle.

I went through the same thing recently and ended up with the PST 1-4 from Midway for $350. I'm VERY impressed with the clarity and overall quality of the optic. I was hitting a 12"x20" 2/3 IPSC target with ease at just shy of 500 yards. I'm also a huge fan of the TMCQ reticle.

Actually went a whole other route.  Got a good deal on a Leupold VX-R Patrol 1.25-4x.  I have a VX-R already and really like it so hopped on it.
