will it through my zero off? i know that cross hair scopes have to be perfect but do aimpoints?

If not plumb/level, your adjustment axis will be off. Just like a regular scope.

thats what i thought. was in a hurry to mount and go.  sighting in i noticed some weird movements and noticed it was a hair canted after i got home.

A hair canted on an Aimpoint probably won't matter.  Did you get it zeroed?

If it's already zeroed, then just leave it as is.  You're not going to be dialing with an Aimpoint or using the reticle to adjust for drop like you would a traditional scope, so it really won't affect function.

A hair canted on an Aimpoint probably won't matter.  Did you get it zeroed?

i got it dialed in but i'll have to fix it and re-zero. my minor ocd affliction wont allow for such shenanigans. lol

I think using feeler gages would be difficult on an AimPoint since it doesn't have a flat bottom.

Agreed....once sighted you are good to go, will make adjustments interesting while sighting in, as the dot will move at an angle, not U-D or L-R
