Just sent an email to Aimpoint about my h1 crapping out.

Don't have my reciept anymore so I will be documenting the process to get it repaired.

Only setting 11 and 12 are working now. It's been a truck gun optic.

Why of course.

Two different batteries from two different brands. Both new from wallyworld.

My person experience dealing with them. And seeing how easy it is. Surefire was a breeze. Hopefully Aimpoint is as well.

It's got a larue mount if that matters ...

I had an ML3 go down.  The LED would change brightness between shots and if you just tapped the sight.  Shipped it to VA.  They told me it had to go back to Sweden to be repaired. I don't think I needed the receipt.  They sent it from there and I had it back in about a month.  Only cost me shipping to VA.  It was about 5-6 years old at the time.

I hope people end up remembering this thread. Aimpoints are phenomenal sights but no brand is 100%.

On a positive note, I have owned at least 10 Aimpoints and have had zero issues.

Last month, I bought a new Carbine Optic that didn't work right out of the box.  I sent two e-mails to Aimpoint, but never heard back.  I ended up simply boxing it up and mailing it to them.  They got it last Friday and I'm waiting to hear from them on what they will do.

I don't trust anyone.   Any company can screw things up.  I suppose that attitude can be a bit counterproductive.  But I've had my share of duds from reputable sources.

Same for me last winter as far as dead out of the box.  Ended up being a bad switch, if I remember right.  They had to send it back to the Sweden, so it took a while to get it back.  I paid return shipping to Virginia and they paid for it going back to the factory and then the return shipping to me.  I believe I called first and then we eventually began corresponding via email.

The rep I dealt with (different from the one recommended in this thread) was helpful and fairly responsive.  It wasn't over the top service but acceptable and professional.

Call his extension. He is easy to get ahold of by phone. I too tried email and it took two tries before he replied and asked that I call him.

John is a prompt and good guy to deal with. All of our Aimpoint's that went tits up got RMA'd and returned either fixed or replaced at no cost to the Air Force. I wasn't aware that he handled civilian accounts.
