Eotech was kind enough to send me another check for 2 of my sights ($853)
When I called to inquire why they sent two payments, the guy said "Oh, looks like it was a clerical error, would you please send it back" Seems somewhat odd that they have that poor of control over their accounting |

Return submitted 3/17
Approved same day Sent 3/18 Arrived 3/21 Email from EOtech stating received 4/1 Check arrived 4/19 Just a hair over 30 days, not bad. |

how many can you send in? I have something like 15 Eotechs...

Has anyone used Fed Ex to ship to Eotech?
I do a lot of shipping and trust their tracking system much more than USPS... Even UPS is better... |

3/18/16: Refund request submitted for $499 for 1 model 517.
3/18/16: Refund request approved. (about 1 hour later) 3/21/16: Package shipped, USPS priority. 3/24/16: Package delivered to Eotech. 4/1/16: Email stating it was received by Eotech. 4/18/16: Check received in mail. EXACTLY 1 MONTH |

Everything seemed to be going well. However as of this post my check is nowhere to be found. I do believe others have experienced this. A Eotech representative states check was in fact mailed. 13 days have passed without receiving the check. I spoke with a Eotech representative on 04-25-16 and they stated to wait one more week. If I don't receive it they have to do a stop payment on the check. The process to get another check issued will be 3 to 4 additional weeks. Any others actually receive their check weeks after the stated mailing date? I know the USPS is horrible in many respects. However 13 days for First Class mail? Thumbs tired of twiddling.

When it counts, FedEx is the only shipper I will use in the US. I pay the little extra for signature required. With my FedEx account I have access to the image of the person who signed. In this case with Eotech A. Alverado signed for my package as others have reported. I ship and recieved many packages. I almost always have some trouble whenever USPS is involved! Has anyone noticed that the time for them to process and confirm delivery seems to be taking longer this month? I wonder if a second wave of shipments has come in.
My FedEx shipment was signed for and delivered on 4/20 (17 days) and I still haven't gotten the refund processing email. My other Eotech that I sent in they only took 11 days. Hmmmm.... I guess I will have to give them a call on Monday and see what's up. |

I finally called today to ask for an update. Their system was conveniently "down for routine maintenance and to call back in a week for an update". That seems a bit convenient. Especially considering I couldn't get a straight answer as to when the "routine" maintenance started. Oh well. Guess I'll call again next week and hope that I got lucky and check is in this months run (I doubt it though...lol) |

Approved for $550 on an XPS2 from 2012 and for $600 on an EXPS2 from 2013. Sent the XPS off Thursday (5/12), the EXPS will be sent Monday (5/16).
I'm really going to miss these sights. I'm not handling the transition to Aimpoint very well at all, almost feels like stepping down to an inferior optic. |

Not waterproof, not nitrogen sealed as advertised. Why pay top dollar for not top dollar optics? If Primary Arms would offer a circle reticle it'd be just as good and probably do better on battery life as well. |

Obviously I've held off on doing so for quite a while. Originally, I had planned on keeping these optics, but I've since heard too many stories of failure and even had it happen to a friend of mine (his lost the nitrogen and the dot became blurry). I figure if it's likely I'm going to eventually send them in for repair, might as well send them in for refunds and buy something that hooefully won't ever need repair. The H1 I'm using is different but I'm getting used to it. It just seems like the larger sight picture of the Eotechs helped me get on target quicker. |

I sent in my request this afternoon, after my xps2 failed me this morning at a match.

Return claim filed: 14 January 2016
Email authorization: 21 January 2016 Shipped out unit (1): 28 January 2016 Delivered: 1 February 2016 Phone call for update: 14 April 2016 - call back in a few weeks, no info Phone call for update: 5 May 2016 - can't find anything, will call back Phone call for update: 11 May 2016 - found sight/claim, check will mail next week Phone call for update: 8 June 2016 - check didn't mail, not sure why, don't know when next checks will be issued-could be awhile. Received payment: still TBD - again & again Very frustrated with the process. The customer service person I talked to today couldn't even give me a reasonable answer why the check didn't ship four weeks ago. He had to put me on hold then talk to the manager. He said the manager couldn't give him a reason other than there must be something I didn't include in the claim - but as I told him, there are only four items, and I included every one: model, serial number, manufacture date, $. I even told him I could send him the "Return Authorization Request" e-mail that has all the items when EOTech approved the request. He couldn't give me an answer, just that it will be quite awhile before they run another series of checks. Not happy. |
