I sent in a 553 in March and forgot about it. I called them in Sep when I realized I was missing a check and they said it was returned undeliverable (funny...my other checks were delivered). They cut me a new check which I received with the last batch around mid Oct. |

This refund doesn't have a cut off date does it? I know it started about 12 months ago.
One of my XPS's just delaminated and I just want to send it in and be done with it as opposed to getting it refurbished. |

Im on the fence about sending mine in. I love the heck out of this thing but my exps2 but had to send it in for repair and worried that the problem will happen again. I just told my self that I would decide to send in for a refund if it breaks again.

Model 556 - long time safe queen. Used little. March 2009 manuf. date.
Just doesn't power on. Tried battery cap repair kit, new batteries, tested continuity and voltage across battery cap.... still nothing. Optic does not produce a reticle. Apparently will be repaired, and I was unaware of all the problems. We will see. RMA request 21 Nov RMA approved 21 Nov Shipped out 21 Nov Arrived @ L-3/EOTech 23 Nov No comms since, yet. EDIT/UPDATE:::: Unit was returned, fixed, arrived 12 Dec (monday) and it arrived EARLY in the morning. Box was labeled UPS Next Day Air! Anyways, it works but certainly seems really bright, the image sort of blurs and blooms a little bit more than I remember, but then again my memory probably isn't the best since I probably hadn't turned it on in a year or two. It also came with batteries, too. Certainly happy with EOTech service on this, all it cost me was the shipping to get it to the shop. |

Shipped 11/22/16, delivered 11/28/16. Would love to receive refund soon but I set my calendar in January to check back. Edit - Received check 2/3/2017, so 2.5 months. |

Approved: 18 Jul Unit Received by EoTech per USPS: 22 Jul Called for update: 21 Sep - The call center states that they have not received the unit. They will look into and call me back. Called for update: 26 Sep - No word yet. Called for update: 27 Sep - No word yet. Call Center Locates Unit: 27 Sep - States my refund will go out in next batch. Email stating the refund has been processed and will arrive in "3-4 weeks": 01 Nov Email sent to EoTech requesting to know why this will take 3-4 weeks. EoTech states that the refunds go out in batches. Email stating that my refund has been processed will arrive in "3-4 weeks" (2nd email): 30 Nov Email again sent to Eotech, I question how they believe that this is acceptable; no reply. Update: Received Check 16 Dec 17 - 21 weeks after unit arrived at processing center. EoTech/L3 completely disappointed me. They say refunds take an average 8-12 weeks, many receive it before that, but don't bet the next mortgage on receiving it in that time frame. |

Sent my request in today (dec 25th 2016) and got an automated reply
Its a 512.a65 manufactured in feb 08. Got it for $389+tax. Theres no serial number sticker on the bottom of the sight, the box or under the battery compartment. Just a number on the wrench sticker so I used that for the ser#. Hope they dont give me any grief over it. Attached File |

I sent mine in on 10/7. I waited about a month and called to check status. I was told to call back in 3 weeks. I did and was told that they couldnt confirm that they received my sight. I freaked out and got a call from an actual eotech rep. I finally got my check last week.

View Quote Update: After Multiple calls to to the Refund line, and emails sent on 12/5/16 with no response, on 01/05/17, I was still being told "Eotech will update our system in 2 weeks, maybe it will be in the system then" So, I called L3 directly. According to them, they never received my Eotechs. I sent via USPS with tracking and signature and have delivery confirmation. Provided to L3 directly and now my refund should be processed in the next batch. The guy was apologetic, states anything sent by USPS goes into a big bin and may not necessarily get actual hands on it. If you sent via USPS and not UPS, you might end up in the same boat. |

View Quote I didn't know that, but, given that I was looking at nearly $800 worth of investment, it only made sense to me to ship it by what I regarded as the more reliable carrier and pay the extra pop for full insurance. That meant shipping ended-up costing me more than EOTech refunded me for it (by about $4 for the two), but, it was worth it, IMO, for the peace of mind. |

I mailed back my 512 on 11/21/16.
They received it on 11/23/16. I called either just before Christmas or just after Christmas and they couldn't confirm whether they received it or not. They said to call back in mid-January. I'm going to call back on Friday. It was sent USPS priority insured. It's kind of messed up that they don't have an accurate system for the logging of incoming Eotechs to be refunded. ETA: Called Eotech on 1/13/17 and the said they have received the optic and are in the process of cutting a check which could take another 3-4 weeks. |

I have a 553 from 2011-2012ish. I think I'm going to send mine back. Anyone know what the MSRP of the 553 was around that time period? Or at least what value Eotech has been approving? I see it's listed for $749 on their website right now, but it can't be that high for refund purposes. Or is it?
