Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Tell me about clip on night vision?

I have seen folks post pics at different times on here of AR's that had night vision scopes that are added to the rail in front of their red dot scopes.  Tell me about options for setups like this.  

I do t know anything about night vision or what is a available. I imagine most if not all is out of my budget.

check out the night vision forum in the armory section

a decent clip on can be expensive.  thermal sights are getting much better and cheaper , many can be used not only as a stand alone sight but also in front of a day optic.
