The hi-rise mount (1") gives you lower 1/3.  The medium rise (about .750-825"depending on model) produces absolute cowitness.

Does this mean that the "hi-rise mount (1") gives you lower 1/3" places the Red Dot above the iron sight post?

Great video thanks. I think i have changed my mind to a lower 1/3 cowitness instead of the absolute i thought i wanted.

Good choice.  Most people prefer having the rifle sights down below the dot (lower 1/3).  That is the commonly available 1" riser.
