I've had good luck with Millett in the past, and was looking at getting this for my ar.

Has anyone handled one or owned one yet? They must be new I can't find any reviews on it. The 1-4 has good reviews so I'm hoping the 2nd Gen is as good or better.

Thanks guys

Well after reading most of that post seems like the dms1 is a good scope.

I think I'm going to order the dms2 and give it a shot. Maybe I will do a review as well.

you can get the gen-1 DMS-1 from natchez for $169.99 right now. i got mine a little while back on a special sale for $149.99 so i jumped all over that deal. if you buy one though make sure you turn the eyepiece out 1 1/2 to 2 turns to get it to focus correctly. thats the one thing i learned from those 82 pages and yes i read every page.

I wemt with the DMS-1 for a reason... it is pretty damn close to the original donut of death from the AUG scope.

Yes, I had a DMS-1 1-4x scope.

It was a POS that I'd only use on a .22 or Airsoft.  When it broke I didn't even bother getting it fixed.

really? I read a ton of that long thread, then went to the end and read back.  It seemed that people really liked theirs.  Only real problem I read was the fungus that grew inside some of them.

Does anyone have a recommendation on a 1-6 scope? That is less than $500

If you are willing to wait a few months, Vortex is coming out with a 1-6x that will be in the sub $450 range.

It's somewhere in this thread I think?

I may be mistaken but I thought they may have said this summer.

Had one, liked it 'OK,' but it was heavy.  Not my favorite 1-4 scope, but a great scope for the price.

I have a DMS-1 on a Mini-14. Decent scope. It's heavy, but has served it's purpose
