I have some grimy optics and I need to get them spotless.

Please share your tips/techniques/recommendations for products.

I use a lens pen and soft cloth for glass. And I use my oily rag to wipe down the tube after cleani the rifle

I also use a lens pen, and if they get bad, I have a Nikon lens cleaning kit with a solution that is safe for coatings

air -> compressed can or compressor out the GRIT

Compressed air is always safe and should be your first choice.
Microfiber lens cleaning cloth (clean, not soiled), sometimes with a little water.
100% pure cotton is safe too IIRC

Dont use paper products (tissues or paper towels), or anything which might have picked up dirt or grit.
