Sorry for the picture quality, my camera was having a tough time focusing. Horrendously distracting, worse in person, and worse outside. Outside, the entire top half of the optic is a bright red reflection to the point where its hard to ID the aiming dot. To reiterate, I contacted PA first and was told this is normal. This thing is going back. I can see a faint reflection in some of my aimpoints, but it was to the point where I never noticed it until I looked for it. I notice about the same in my old PA micro red dot, on par with the aimpoints. I fired this thing up, and the first thing I noticed was the reflection. Way worse than my aimpoints and cheapie PA micro. As you noted some reflections are normal but what you are describing may not be. As far as mounts go, I would like absolute cowitness and a QD lever so I'm looking at the AD-T1-10. Is this mount as good as a Larue 751 or even close?

Yes american defense mounts are good. The best torture test of the MD ADS on YouTube was mounted using the ADM. I have an Adm on several scopes and one RDS they all hold zero.

I picked up the Holosun HS403G version, love the Auto on/off feature, It wont turn on just riding around in my car unless I hit a massive pothole. This RDS isnt as color -neutral as my PRO there is a slight blue tint to it but it isnt bad at all... seen way worse. The dot is sharp and bright..or dim as you want it. Mounted it on an ADM full co-witness mount and it is great. This is my second Holosun , my other one is mounted on an AK pistol and it is holding up great. I highly reccomend these RDS, along with Primary Arms stellar customer service... you cant lose.

My PA advanced just died on me, new battery still dead it will flicker on and then go off. It's been on at medium/low setting since January 7th

I just snagged an ADS with the radical mount that was on sale for the may day event.
It was replacing a Sparc v1 on a new pistol build. I gotta say, this thing is amazing. I am absolutely loving it. If I could, I would trade in all my SPARCs for these. The radical mount is nice, in case anybody was wondering.

So I had never heard of this thing a couple days ago and was pretty much settled on the mepro tru dot but this thing seems promising. What can you guys tell me are the shortcomings of this vs the aimpoint. Basically I guess I am asking other than the aimpoint reputation, why is the aimpoint superior? Or is it? Or is it just more money? Also I looked on the primary arms website to buy one and a Larue mount wasn't an option in the drop down menu. Does the larue work with this optic? Is it not a good option for some reason? What mounts have been the best? The application is an AR probably an absolute cowitness but might be a lower 1/3rd. Not sure on that yet. Thanks.

If you order it from somewhere other than PA who takes care of issues? Just curious. I have a 9mm pistol that is need of a RDS.

I got one of these bad boys last month for my Arsenal... What a bad ass optic. Zeroed in 12 rounds, has mainted zero for the last month, dropped it a couple times as well.... I got mine for $160 shipped on Amazon. Can't really force myself to spend the other $300 on a T-1 really...
