Ehy havent they made pro version of the T1. A $400 Aimpoint MRD would sell like hot cakes.

Depends on how you define "zombie".

A past acquaintance of mine said he was prepping for the " zombie apocalypse ".

I asked him to define 'zombie' for me. His reply caused me to and make him a past acquaintance.

Yep. That's all they had to do. Make a micro with the 1 year battery life, no NV, and a standard mount. Would have been awesome. But apparently that's not in the cards right now

I like my PRO's but I am interested to see how the pricing on this new Aimpoint flushes out.  Could be a great deal.  Time will tell.

They had a H-1

Then they stopped selling it.

ETA: Nvm, they still sell it. I bought a silver H1 from Midwayusa a few years ago on close out for $300. I figured they stopped selling them.

Leupold is going to be releasing a new 1x etched reticle illuminated optic (LCO).  It will be a huge advantage for people with astigmatism.  This will be their second attempt at this type of product.  Hopefully, the battery life will be good.  Regardless, this is the type of thing Aimpoint SHOULD have been working on instead of their 37th version of the CompM2.

Traditional Aimpoint style red dots suck for a HUGE portion of the population.  Astigmatism is here to stay.  Contrary to one posters opinion, glasses do not always fix the problem.

Aimpoint needs to accept this and change if they want to be relevant in the coming years.
