Aimpoint said September 2014. Anyone know a specific date? Price point?

Yes, I'm interested as well; anyone heard of someone getting some in?

It was shown on the Aimpoint site, but now it's gone.

I heard a rumor (just that...a rumor) that there was some sort of problem with it.

The last I read it was supposed to be released this month but I've not found a dealer who's taking preorders on them.

I noticed it's gone as well. It was there last week. WTF???

Not sure why the hype on this thing.  It addresses no real issues people have with the T1, namely the small ocular lens.  Make it 25mm or 28mm in the same compact frame and you own the RDS/Holo market with one unit.

Thats too bad figured once the T2 came out prices on the T1's in stock might drop a bit.

I'm in for a T1/H1 if the pricing drops down to PRO optics pricing.

Dont think that will happen. If the T-1 falls to aimpoint prices... PRO prices drop to $300?

What is different between the T-1 and T-2?

Curious myself.

The T1 seems tough to improve on.

Looks like it come with flip caps and the top adjustment knob is protected.

Looks like the T2 have same or better glass than M4 series. If you have tried and M4, you'll know its much clearer and less (blue) in color than T1 and H1. I didnt care for T1 for that reason. But plan on switching is glass is more like m4s

Differences between the T1 and T2:

1) T2 will accept a killFlash ARD...

2) T2 has flip-up lens covers...

3) T2 has somewhat protected (not to the extent that the Comp M4/M4s) adjustment turrets...

From Aimpoint on why the T2 was taken off the US Aimpoint website:

"The T-2 link was accidentally made live when it shouldn't have been made live until the actual launch.  The T-2 will be here soon!  There will be plenty of official announcements and you will see the announcement on our Facebook page and website."

I would not count on cheap T1 prices.
