all my optics are AR height, i was wondering if i "should" use the same optics on SMG's like MP5 or Kriss Vectors

i'm looking at purchasing either of the above SMG's and i do have the extra AR height optics, but will buy the correct height ones if required.

i was wondering because, when I used low height optics on my pistol carbine conversion kit, the cheek weld was awkward to me.

I would use what ever keeps your cheek weld approx. the same as you currently use for iron sights.

you're right, i did not notice that the iron sight heights on these SMG's are different.

no wonder i don't see tall optics on mp5's
