I'm looking for an optic for my 300 blk, 9" AAC upper.

I don't plan on shooting anything more than 100yards and typically within 50yards.

I'm leaning towards an Eotech XPS3 or a Aimpoint T-1.

Anyone with experience with these two on a short 300 blk?

Are there other options that I should consider?

If you're running a SBR like that, I'd assume you want to cut down on weight as much as possible. In that case, absolutely nothing can beat the T-1.

I'm putting an EoTech on my 11" 300BLK SBR. It's perfect for my intended use.

Kill me now

Even though I am an Aimpoint fan, battery life, and such.

But for shooting less than 100 yards, I think that an Eotech would be faster on target, you do not need the head positioned fairly properly, easier to see with both eyes especially if you do not practice much.

With all of that said if you practice somewhat the Aimpoint is great, so is the Eotech except the battery life.

I just got my psa 16" upper in and put my osprey 45 on it with an eotech, thing is solid as a rock! I have already sent the form 1 off, so when that comes back the barrel is going down to 9".
