THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
I acquired this scope in a trade. All the info I found about it on the web states it is very rare. I listed it for sale here and have not got the first message.I like the scope over and it works great but I was wondering what a reasonable asking price is for it. I am not a collector and have no need for it but my brother thinks I am an idiot for not putting it in the safe and hanging on to it.

They were a prototype for a special forces request. Only 100 were made and they were wicked expensive. Supposedly Vickers was involved in it's development but the project fell out for unknown reasons. The Short Dot is supposed to be the follow up to this.

I thought I read that all 100 were sent to the MIL for evaluation, hence why they're even rarer. Swarvoski glass and supposedly indestructible internals.

I see one for sale on this page for $550.

If you Google it you'll find sever that have supposedly been sold for much more than $550.

Yea thats mine but i didn't list it. I guess thats about what they go for when i read they were 2500 to make so i guessed 1000. hell the only reason i put that is because it said i had to put a price in the rules. I just contacted the seller and he said he will take it down. I guess when my 72 is up I will drop the price.
