I'm wondering if there is a problem with my Trijicon TA31F or if it's just me. My reticle doesn't seem to fully illuminate unless I tilt my head to the right of the scope. If I move my head to the far left of the scope, 5/8s of the reticle goes black. Looking through it how I normally would, the edge of the right side of the reticle is black. Is this normal? The other ACOG's reticles I've seen at gun shops don't appear to do this no matter where I look in the scope. Anything I might be doing incorrectly? Perhaps the mount is the problem? Pics below:

I've had this ACOG for about a year now. It has been doing this for awhile (I'm not sure if it did when I first purchased it). I didn't care too much about it since it was still very useable, but I figured I should post this here to clarify whether or not this is normal.

Mine doesn't do that, and I wouldn't think it's normal.

Give Trijicon a call.

I agree, not normal.

Have you sent in your warranty card?

Contact Trijicon. Illumination mechanism and reticle are out of whack.
