My humble submission. Bad picture, but it'll have to do. I just got this scope last week, and got it mounted over the weekend. There are two obvious omissions from this rifle. First, I have a front BUIS but no rear BUIS. Second, I need the flip-up scope cover for the objective. The local sporting goods store had the one for the eyepiece, but I knew finding the odd sized one locally wasn't going to happen.

The scope is a Bushnell Elite 4200 1.25-4x24 with illuminated reticle. I was going to get a Vortex, but when I found this Elite available for $329 I jumped on it. Initial impressions are good. The rifle is a 6.8mm.

My Current setup: Using Primary Arms Multi-Reticle Red dot M3 and 3X magnifier on custom spring flip-to-side mount. (total setup is near the $250) I've only had time to shoot with it once and wasn't able to get it completely sighted in, but I should be able to do that next week.

Burris AR-332:  3X magnification.  A really great optic for it's price.  I have heard of problems with the reticle being canted, but I have no such problems.  I put it on a Trijicon ACOG mount and it is rock solid.  I am a big fan.

Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24 on a Novekse 6.8 SPR

8 shots @ 100 yards. My 1st attempt at 100 and 1st day at the range with this scope. The Vortex was 2 inches Left and 1 inch Low, out of the box on a BOBRO 30mm extended mount. After a couple turret clicks I was just over 1 MOA, prone with a Harris bipod in tall grass. 4 of 8 shots are within 1/2 inch.

Cost of Scope and Mount $620 New

Can I make a request? I'm in the process of building an 18" barrel AR and have sort of settled on the Sightmark Triple Duty M4 1-6x24mm. Does anyone have a picture of one mounted on a rifle and also of the reticle? It would fit right in this category as Midway has them for $279.

Nikon M223 1-4x in the Nikon M223 mount.

Nikon Monarch 3.3-10x44 MilDot in a GG&G GS-1 Riser with Warne rings. (The GG&G GS-1 is the most stable optics mount I have found, like being welded on)

Nikon Monarch 3.3-10x44 MilDot in a Smith Enterprise Mount & Warne rings.

Close up of the GG&G but with a more expensive scope...I liked these so much that today I have a couple of them.

Burris E1 series 3-9x40 with BDC. Very impressed with the glass on this scope and the eye relief is perfect for an AR. The scope was $200 and the QD mount was around $100.

Best shot I could get. It was overcast and set to 3x, but you get a comparison of the glass.

My GRSC 1-4x in the Burris PEPR mount. It is on my 18" 1x8 bulldog barrel with a 15" Midwest free float.

Pros:
Reticle is really cool and easy to use on 4x or 1x
Red and Green illumination
Off setting between every illumination setting
2 spare batteries with compartments in the turrent caps
Great service from Ed, scope arrived 2 days early and his Military discount is generous.
Looks tough and is cheap enough that I may end up painting or duracoating it and not cry myself to sleep over ruining a $1200 scope.
Zero lock
2" screw on sunshade included.(shown mounted)

Cons:
Haven't used the reticle yet but it will obviously take some getting used too.
Only 3 brightness settings(They are almost perfect settings but there are only 3 so I'll list it)
adjustment from 1x-4x is tricky as the dial has grooves and indents for grip but no tactile indicator of magnification setting or position.

All said and done: Would highly recommend. If I deploy to a shooting zone this sucker is coming with me.

Nikon Buckmaster 6-18X40 Mil-dot scope in a Nikon M-223 mount on my AR-10.  Recently purchased from MidwayUSA on sale for $325.

Included with the scope from Nikon are two sets of turrets (standard and target - target turrets shown in the pics) and a 4" sunshade (not shown in the pics).

Scope features side focus adjustment and the glass is very good for the price range.  Excellent bang for the buck, a lot of scope for $325.

It is a Burris LRS scope 1x 4 with the Burris mount and FastFire II.  I picked the package up from my local Cabelas for 499.99.
Took it out to Rio Salado gun club in Mesa, AZ and loved it.
After a quick dial in my friend and I were hitting the steel targets at 200 and 300 yards easily using PMC Xtac 55 grain.
