Just picked up a Center Point "Power Class" 3-12x44mm scope. This thing should NOT be paired with the centerpoint scopes in walmart. They are in an completly different class. I have one of the Walmart Center Points on a .22lr and its a child's toy in comparison. The Power Class scopes comes in a nice box and carefully packaged, while the Walmart ones come in shrinked plastic.
Performace..... The Walmart Center Points use 1" tubes, while the Power Class use a massive 30mm tube and the "image" is significantly brighter. The Power Class scope is crystal clear at all magnification. The walmart Center Points get a very distinct white/grey to the image that is very easy to see and degrades the "image" a lot. The Power Class scope doesnt have this problem and is honestly the CLEAREST, and BRIGHTEST chinese made scope i have ever used. Features.... It has a side adjustable parallax, 1/4" turrets that are zero resettable, but no illumination. This smaller model either comes in illumination with an unadjustable parallax, or side parallax with no illumination. The larger Power Class scopes DO offer both side parallax adjustments and rear top illumination adjustments. This is the ONLY scope this size that offers clear glass, every feature you could imagine, and be compact. It also comes with flip up lenses, and a sunshade. The ONLY negative is that the turrets move a little bit before they click. The clicks are loud, and distinct, and you can feel them too. Also the sound of the click going counterclock wise is different then when going clockwise. Now i have not tried this out at the range yet, but if the walmart scope held zero on a 7.62x54r, and on my father's AR in .223 im sure this model which is a leap in quality will definetly hold too. They have a lifetime warranty through crossman located in NY. In Short.... -Clearest Chinese scope i have ever handled -30mm tube is huge and makes it the brightest Chinese scope I have ever handled. -Has turrents w/ side parallax adjustment -Nothing like Walmart Centerpoint scopes. -Worth well over the $150 i paid -The SHORTEST 12x scope @ 10.75" SETUP: CenterPoint Power Class 3-12x44mm (CP312AOC) $154-$180 retail Mount: CAA/Primary arms $24.99, available at aimsurplus.com and primaryarms.com Rifle: Armalite M15 standard 2-2.5MOA barrel w/ Midwest Industries FF two piece rail.
Does this lense look small to anyone else?
Unlike the walmart ones it comes in a nice box, with working flip up caps, and a sun shade...
"TRIED" to take pictures, but my camera wouldnt get a clear picture through the scope.... Closer house is to the left of the front flip up cap, and is ~200 yards, the farther house is 350 meters, and is the farthest one that is above the close yellow house, second window from the right.
******In person everything is crystal clear, you can see the texture of the bricks and everything is crystal clear, the camera only focused on an area the size of a quarter in each of the pictures. ******It is crystal clear from the very edge to the center of the "image" 12x 200 yards...
12x 350 meters..

Now the mount isnt anything to brag about. It works and does what its supposed to. Its definitely Chinese. I got it from PrimaryArms.com, it disappeared from their website but they have one under their name and its the same thing. 30mm rings with 1" inserts here AimSurplus has it also HERE, but both are sold out right now. Im getting a LaRue mount for it which is coming friday, since this rifle is setup with a light, VFG, and BUIS when its not at the range and i only have a scope on it when i go to the range, hence the odd placement of the bipod, which is where my FUG usually is. The scope was $147 after tax and shipping, and the mount was $25. ...Just cleared IM's |

Primary Arms micro dot (Gen 2) with optional riser mount atop a S&W M&P 15-22...on page 1.
IMO, it's a great red dot sight for under $100. The riser mount is OK for the money, but does not offer true QD reliability. |

burris fullfield II in a Larue mount. Really clear glass for the money. I am almost ashamed that the mount cost almost as much as the scope though.

Burris Fullfield II 3-9x40mm 1" tube Ballistic-Plex(BDC) reticle mounting in Accushot med. rings on post-ban RRA Entry Tac(my first rifle)
No longer have the scope or rings but I was very happy with both for my first optic setup! |

Vortex SPARC on a YHM rail on top:
Bushnell Trophy on a 6920 below. The SPARC's getting a DD mount and the 6920 may get the rail if I think it might let me have both the BUIS and move the red dot back a bit. Or the BUIS might just get another job. |

These two rifles go to the range with me more then probably all others that I own combined, and they both have probably the cheapest scopes that I have mounted on any of my rifles also. The R-25 has a Centerpoint 4-16x (I think $70) and The Highpoint has a Bushnell Banner 1-4x (a whopping $80, and yeah it needs lower rings, the rings on it were just what I had lying around at home already)

Bushnell Elite 3200 10x wannabe tactical scope. I'll spare you bad pics of the reticule.
Most of you know what a mil-dot looks like. The mount is Larue.
