As I understand it, the alloy followers from the old Vietnam mags had a slightly different design as to where the spring attached.

Will modern 20 round mag springs work alright?

I was looking at these springs from Brownells LINK...

CDNN used to have the old style if you wanted them for about a dollar each.

Any place to get an old style aluminum follower? By the way the old style springs will not fit the new plastic style 20rd. followers. They are to thick around where the spring fits in.
