I want to get some AR mags for 223Wild/5.56 despite not owning one yet, the lowers I ordered from Old Dominion Firearms never came(I would warn not to do business with them) so my build has been delayed.  I am looking for 5-6 30 round, 2 or 3 10 round or smaller mags for bi pod/sand bag shooting and maybe 1 or 2 30+ rounders, not looking to buy in bulk as I realistically would rarely shoot my AR's unless a outdoor range suddenly opened up near me.  I don't want to spend much on mags and figure getting them now may be a good idea looking at how the election is going.   What magazine are recommended that are low priced but still decent quality, is it better to go synthetic or metal.  Any deals going on.  Saw some 30 round synthetic at Academy for 11.99-12.99 but forgot the name.  Thanks.

Okay 20s and 30s are good.  A 20 is plenty short for shooting from a bipod or bench.  

Center Industries mags are he best value when you can find 'em cheap on the EE.

I bought m2 pmags at lanbosarmory.com last for me and my brother for $9.20 each, black, no window.

Get a few PMAGs (I like Gen3 best personally) and a few OKAY Industries USGI aluminum mags (now marketed as "sure feed" mags)
