I just looked at my BFI and D&H.  They both have the above cage code.

They were the top choice in USGI mags for a very long time. Problems have been a recent phenomenon.

Actually... yes and no.. the company had a couple buyouts between themselves, before forming D&H. So,,, Labelle made them before the ban, and D&H (1997) made them after the buyout and consolidation.

This.  Back around 98, at least when I bought mine during crazy Ca rush and Prey2k hype, they were teflon coated Labelle mags.   Have a small stash of them.  Grey and Black.

The Bushmaster mags that I had were Teflon coated and they were quality mags.  Don't know who made them and I have since traded them but they were equal to some preban Labelle mags that I have which are the best metal mags I have tried.
