Are Midway's Stoner magazines any good?
I'm reading that Okay's surefeed are the better made metal mags, but they are limited to 5.56 only. If one is looking for mags for an AR10 308, 6.8, 6.5 etc what are some brands that are reliable?

GTG for .223 and .300 BO for me. Bought two several years ago. Never a problem.

I have a bunch of them from years back. Most were total junk. I think that's back when C Products was making them.

I have 4 purchased about a year ago that I use in my rotation without any problems. My other mags are Okey and I can't tell the difference when I'm shooting, only when held in hand.

Edit: Forgot to mention all my mags are 20 rds.  not 30.

D&h makes 308 mags for around the same price.

I've never tried the stoner mags but other stoner branded stuff I came across was unimpressive at best. The absolute cheapest stuff available and it shows.

I got about a 1/2 dozen several years ago, due to good reviews here. They were on sale at ''Midway'' for around $5 at the time. I have not tried any yet, but have given several away and not any complaints from  buddies. They were all 20 rds. and made by C-Products at that time.

I have a couple of the older AR Stoner 30 round stainless mags. They have been good to go. They were made by the original C products so I don't know how much my experience helps you.

Some of the best magazines - with some of the worst customer service - in the world...

The 308 mags suck hard in both my 308 rifles, aero home build and S&W factory gun. pmags and D&H are the best for me.

I bought 2 they both suck, the last round pops out of the mag as the bolt goes back locking the bolt carrier back with the last round sitting on top of the feed lips, both mags, only mags i have that does this, no matter how many rounds i load, in all of my ARs

I have a bunch of 5.56 ones, 20's and 30's, and they all run fine. The 308 mags are not that great though. Mine are mostly C Products vintage. The ones they sell now are ASC.

I've run five of them for the last 3 years and have no issues at all.
