Same exact thing as NHMTG.  They just quit marking them NHMTG and started marking 'em Okay.

This. My personal opinion, NHMTG is the best aluminum AR magazine made. With magpul followers, they're darn near perfect other than not allowing round-counting the way a translucent or windowed magazine does. Some others (Pmag & ETS come to mind first) have a modified feed angle that should be better with the new & retarded M855A1, but with any of the non-retarded ammunition that the rest of us use it's not really an issue.

Okay mags may be a little more expensive than some of the other aftermarket mags out there, but one thing to keep in mind is that your very expensive AR is only as good as the mag that feeds the ammo.  Okay mags go through extensive testing before they are shipped so there are no feeding issues.  That's why we've been supplying the Military foe over 40 years - No other brand can make that claim.  Okay mags aren't the cheapest but they are the best.

AGREED!

Now, if you would offer them from the factory with Magpul Ranger L floorplates they would be PERFECT.

Since I saw you posting maybe you can answer something about the new mags. Did the floor plate metal get thinner on these than on the Okay mags?

So what exactly is the difference in the finish of the magazines besides one is grey mil-spec and the other is black?

Right, but what are the differences in those materials from a practical stand point. Are there advantages to one coating over the other?

Kind of want some of the grey ones to remind me of my USMC days, but not really a fan of aluminum mags anymore.

I don't think those are in production yet.   As far as I know Center is the only one that's going to make 'em.

We at OKAY use the same floor plate for our Military & commercial mags.
