Is there some kind of code or date on Magpul or other mags that tell you how old they are?

I guess you don't own any PMAGs because they are clearly marked with a mfg date. As for other mags some are and some aren't. You'd have to check each mag for markings.

D&H mags (or at least all of the ones I have) have the manufacture date clearly stamped on the side of the mag.

Pre-'94 G.I. mags may be dated or not. All mags post-'94 should be dated.

Yes, you are correct, that particular Magpul magazine was manufactured in March of 2011.

the 15 rounders don't look like they're dated, but 20s and 30s are

I didn't see those mentioned in the title of this thread

OP asked about magpul and "other mags", I was referring to the other mag part of his question.  ETA punctuation.  Just trying to help.

I do own Pmags, many of them, but I also don't have young man eyes and though I have seen those markings, I wanted to mae certain that was what that meant. thanks for all of the valuable info guys.
