I picked up a bunch (75) of 20 rounders at $10/per. They are all older with the alloy follower. They are a mix of Simmonds, Colt 5.56, Colt .223 and Adventure Line. They are all in great shape with no dents or bent feed lips.
Are all of these good to go and was this a fair deal?
Thanks

Not bad just put some magpul followers in there to make them super reliable and you should be GTG.

Where can we find Magpul followers for GI 20 round mags?

Hey OP, you did well. I use a bunch of these older 20's for a majority of my bench shooting. AND, don't replace those followers. The older 20's were almost perfection and hold up very well. There is a minimum spring length, at that point the spring should be replaced- but the followers are fine. I'd agree if the advice was to replace followers in 30round USGI mags, but those are just fine.

Many oldtimers prefer these 20's to all others, yours will probably last another lifetime.

Magpul doesn't offer a replacement follower for G.I. 20 round mags.

The factory followers were/are GTG.

Don't listen to the 14'er.

The alloy followers will work great in the GI 20's.

Great deal OP.
I love the old 20s, and most sellers do as well based on the climb in prices.

GI 20's are reliable just the way they are with the alloy followers.

You made a great deal, OP.
